For Asian Americans, they’ve had to deal with two pandemics: COVID-19 and racism. ‘Stop AAPI Hate’ revealed that nearly 3,800 hate-related incidents were reported over the course of roughly a year. To have a better understanding of the impact of the coronavirus on these communities, Cheddar’s Michelle Castillo sat down with therapist Hannah Kinisky, artist Linjie Deng, The Cut’s beauty director Kathleen Hou, and Boundless Immigration CEO Xiao Wang.
