Lisa Jackson, the Creative Director and Founder of LJ Cross, began her career as as the go to interior designer for clients such as Renee Zellweger, Vera Wang, Tory Burch and Michael J. Fox.
It was a natural step for the designer to take her eye for design and delve into the world of fine jewelry. In February 2014, Jackson unveiled LJ Cross, with her first LJ Cross flagship store opening in October 2014 on Madison Avenue.
Lisa was inspired to create LJ Cross to pay homage to her late brother Steven, who often wore one or more crosses at a time. A majority of her designs feature the ancient, iconic fashion symbol.
Lisa, working alongside LJ Cross’s Design Director Ward Kelvin, who has designed for Tiffany & Co., David Yurman, and Ralph Lauren, employs her minimalist signature style and sense of scale to create bold statements with each piece. Using only high-quality gemstones and precious metals, each linear piece embodies a strong sense of modernity while embracing timeless spirituality.
The line is currently sold at the flagship LJ Cross lifestyle boutique in Manhattan, select Saks Fifth Avenue locations, fine jewelers across the country and online at www.ljcrossny.com. Prices range from the hundreds up to the thousands.
