You should know the rules of roulette so that you can start well prepared. In our guide, you will learn everything important about the game, its possible uses, and the different types of bets. <\/span><\/p>\n

Roulette: Rules at a glance<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Roulette is a pure game of chance. They have no influence on which number falls. Please note: We will first explain the European variant to you here. The probabilities mentioned later also refer to this. In another chapter, we will explain the differences to American roulette. In roulette, a small ivory ball is thrown by the croupier into a spinning cauldron. This is divided into 37 fields: The numbers 1-36 appear to be randomly distributed, but the colors red and black always alternate. Added to this is the “0,” which is green.<\/span><\/p>\n

The same numbers can be found on the so-called tableau. Here they are divided into three columns in order. At the head end there is the “0”. On the sides are the so-called easy chances: red\/black, high\/low and even\/odd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before the croupier throws the ball, make your bet. You can place your tokens \u2013 this is what the pieces with different values are called \u2013 on the easy odds or directly on the numbers. However, you have other options, which we explain in the second section.<\/span><\/p>\n

As soon as the croupier says the words “Nothing works anymore,” he throws the ball opposite to the direction of rotation of the boiler. From this moment on, you are no longer allowed to bet or place a bet from the tableau.<\/span><\/p>\n

After a few revolutions, the ball falls into the square of a number \u2013 which is then the winning number.<\/span><\/p>\n

Roulette: Simple, multiple chances and more bets<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In roulette, you have numerous opportunities to bet and just as many opportunities to win.<\/span><\/p>\n

Simple chances: Red and black are called simple chances. Likewise low and high: Here you bet on the numbers 1\u201318 (low) or 19\u201336 (high). Even and odd are easy chances and self-explanatory. The chance of winning is almost 50:50. If the “0” comes, your bet is not lost, but you have not won anything either. If you win, your stake doubles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dozen:<\/strong> You can also bet on a dozen. That would be the numbers 1 to 12, 13 to 24 or 25 to 36. Here your bet triples. The odds of a dozen winning are 32.4%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Column:<\/strong> A column refers to a series of numbers on the tableau. There is column 1\u201334, column 2\u201335 and column 3\u201336. Here too, your effort triples. As with the dozen, the odds of winning are 32.4%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Carr\u00e9:<\/strong> Here you bet on the four numbers that form a square on the tableau (e.g. B.: 10, 11, 13 & 14). To do this, place your chips on the intersection of these four numbers. Win a Carr\u00e9 bet and receive 8 times your stake. The odds of winning are 10.8%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Street:<\/strong> For a street (also street weather or cross row), you bet on three consecutive numbers, for example 1, 2 & 3. You place your tokens on the outer edge of the first number in the street (note any local rule deviations). The profit is 11 times the stake. The odds of winning are about 8.1%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Split:<\/strong> In a split, you bet your chips between two numbers on the roulette table, for example between 8 and 9. If one of the two numbers is correct, you receive 17 times your bet. The chance of this is 5.4%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Plein:<\/strong> A plein means that you specifically bet on a number between 0 and 36. If you win, you will receive 35 times your stake. Your chances of winning here are around 2.7%.<\/span><\/p>\n
