Spray a\u00a0<span class=\"vm-hook-outer vm-hook-default\"><span class=\"vm-hook\">baking dish<\/span><\/span>\u00a0with cooking spray.<\/p>\n<p>In a bowl, stir together the\u00a0<span class=\"vm-hook-outer vm-hook-default\"><span class=\"vm-hook\">milk<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and Panko breadcrumbs.<\/p>\n<p>Add the beef, minced garlic, Chinese five-spice powder, chopped scallions,\u00a0<span class=\"vm-hook-outer vm-hook-default\"><span class=\"vm-hook\">beaten egg<\/span><\/span>, soy sauce and sesame sauce to the bowl. Mix all the ingredients together and form meatballs<\/p>\n<p>Place the shaped meatballs into the prepared pan and bake for 15-18\u00a0<span class=\"vm-hook-outer vm-hook-default\"><span class=\"vm-hook\">minutes<\/span><\/span>, or until the meatballs are fully cooked.<\/p>\n<p>To make the sauce, mix together the Hoisin sauce and blackberry jam in a small sauce pan over medium heat.<\/p>\n<p>Brush or toss meatballs with glaze<\/p>\n<p><strong>New England Clam Chowder<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Serves 4-6<\/p>\n<p><em>Ingredients<\/em><\/p>\n<p>3 slices of \u00a0uncooked bacon<\/p>\n<p>1 cup chopped celery<\/p>\n<p>1 cup chopped onions<\/p>\n<p>2 garlic cloves, minced<\/p>\n<p>2 pounds steamer clams<\/p>\n<p>1 cup white wine<\/p>\n<p>1 cup heavy cream<\/p>\n<p>1 carrot, peeled and chopped<\/p>\n<p>1 pound new potatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces<\/p>\n<p>1 cup clam juice<\/p>\n<p>2 sprigs fresh thyme<\/p>\n<p>1 bay leaf<\/p>\n<p>1 lime<\/p>\n<p><em>Instructions<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In a saut\u00e9 pan, add bacon and cook until\u00a0<span class=\"vm-hook-outer vm-hook-default\"><span class=\"vm-hook\">translucent<\/span><\/span>, 3 to 4 minutes. . Add celery, onion and garlic and continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes. . Add clams and white wine to the mixture. Cover and let simmer until clams open up, about 5 minutes. Remove clams from the pan and place on the side.<\/p>\n<p>Transfer the remaining contents of the saut\u00e9 pan to a large pot and add the cream, carrot, potatoes, clam juice, thyme, and bay leaf. Bring to a \u00a0boil and let simmer for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Remove clams from their shells and toss lime<\/p>\n<p>To serve, divide clam mixture among 4-6 bowls and pour the chowder on top<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boston Baked Beans<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Ingredients<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1\/2 lb sliced bacon<\/p>\n<p>1 onion, chopped<\/p>\n<p>3 garlic cloves, pressed<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup \u00a0Brown Sugar<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup \u00a0Molasses<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup ketchup<\/p>\n<p>2 TBSP white vinegar<\/p>\n<p>4 cans (15-16 oz each) pork and beans, undrained<\/p>\n<p>2 cans (15.5 oz each) dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed<\/p>\n<p><em>Instructions<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until crisp. \u00a0Cut into \u201cbacon bits\u201d and set aside. Sautee \u00a0onion in \u00a0left over bacon drippings until translucent but a little al dente, 3 min. Press garlic into skillet, cook and stir 1 minute. Add brown sugar, molasses, and vinegar to skillet; cook and stir until sugar is dissolved and mixture is bubbly. Add bacon, ketchup, and beans to skillet. Bring mixture to a boil. Transfer into a Pyrex dish.<\/p>\n<p>Bake 60 minutes at 375 degrees<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bohemian Guacamole<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Ingredients<\/em><\/p>\n<p>2 avocados peeled and cut into small pieces<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 of a pineapple grilled and then diced small<\/p>\n<p>6 strips of bacon cooked up until crisp, then broken into small pieces<\/p>\n<p>1 lime juiced<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 tsp. chili powder<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 tsp. garlic powder<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 tsp. cumin<\/p>\n<p>salt to taste<\/p>\n<p>cilantro about 1 tbsp. or to taste<\/p>\n<p><em>Instructions<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Mix together your avocado and pineapple and bacon. Add all of the seasonings listed above. Squeeze your lime juice over the mixture to prevent browning. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
