Couri Hay<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"vertical-line\">|<\/span>\u00a0August 11<\/span>, 2016 |\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/hamptons-magazine.com\/blogs\/category\/People\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">People<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Model, mom, and author Christie Brinkley adds vintner to her resume with a new line of Italian proseccos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Iconic supermodel Christie Brinkley graced over 500 magazine covers, before later transitioning her career to author, entrepreneur, mother, philanthropist, and actress. Now, at age 62, she is launching Bellissima, an exclusive line of organic proseccos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The three varieties\u2014Bellissima Zero Sugar sparkling wine, Bellissima Sparkling Ros\u00e9, and Bellissima DOC Brut\u2014are all made in Treviso, Italy, near Venice, from organic grapes. \u201cOur vineyard has never had chemicals on it,\u201d says Brinkley. \u201cFor as long as it\u2019s existed, it\u2019s been organic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bellissima Sparkling Ros\u00e9, made from Pinot Grigio grapes, is fresh and fruity, with hints of strawberry and grapefruit. The Brut, a classic prosecco, is aromatic and dry, with scents of green apple and freshly baked bread. The Zero Sugar is also a brut wine with the sugars removed naturally through double fermentation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cTo be able to have a prosecco that doesn\u2019t have the villain sugar in it is really exciting,\u201d says Brinkley, who also designed the labels with the image of Venus, which represents beauty. \u201cIf you\u2019re dieting and you still want to have that little glass to celebrate with friends, then you have my Zero, and you\u2019ll love the flavor and you\u2019ll love the little giggly thing that you get.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also on the horizon for the mom of three\u2014she\u2019s about to become an empty-nester, with her youngest, daughter Sailor, starting college in the fall. But after writing a beauty book, Timeless Beauty: Over 100 Tips, Secrets and Shortcuts to Looking Great, and launching a line of beauty products, Authentic Skin, plus a new line of hair extensions, the Hair2Wear Christie Brinkley Collection, about to debut, she has much to keep her busy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Says Brinkley, \u201cI\u2019m focused right now on launching my businesses.
