Bedridden Ice T was sicker than a dog on Monday night but that didn’t stop his wife Coco from attending the annual Long Island Bulldog Rescue benefit on at the Kimmel Center at NYU overlooking Gramercy Park. The reality star arrived with daughter Chanel and pooch Maximus in tow, joining Beth Stern to co-host “Bash for the Bulldogs” and raise funds for the adoption and care of the two blonds’ favorite breed! “Ice T has a cold, it went through our entire family and he was the last one to get sick.” No word why Beth’s husband Howard Stern wasn’t on hand but when questioned about the subject of children, she replied “Oh no way. I’m 45! I’m way passed that. My pets are my kids.” Beth donated one of her husband’s hats to the live auction, which included guitars autographed by Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift.
Jean Pigozzi who has been dubbed, “the Picasso of celebrity selfies” (Vainty Fair) and has photographed everyone from Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell to Karlie Kloss. He is credited with inventing the “selfie” in 1974 with a picture he took of himself with Faye Dunaway. Pigozzi unveiled a show titled, “Charles and Saatchi: the Dogs“ at Isabelle Bscher’s Galerie Gmurzynska at the opening of Art Basel last night, (December 6th). The dog pictures are shown alongside works including those by Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Indiana and Louise Nevelson.
