Uma Thurman draped in Jordan Fine Diamonds in DuJour Magazine

Uma Thurman who’s thrilled audiences in Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill will make her Broadway debut in The Parisian Woman on November 7 (at the Hudson Theatre). The play by House of Cards creator Beau Willimon, will have a lot of biting Trump references and is about a political wife who will go to any lengths to secure a powerful position for her husband in Washington. Thurman who’s draped in a $650k pink diamond necklace from Australia’s Argyle Pink Diamond mine by jeweler Jordan Fine confesses to Dujour magazine of her upcoming gig, “I’m scared, I feel like I’m at the base of a very steep incline. It’s going to be a challenge beyond words.“ One thing the play won’t have is the extreme violence associated with most of her movies. Interestingly the star says “I don’t really like violence, I’m not the kind of person who wants to go see people get shot up for fun but it has its place in the arts.” On the lighter side, she reunites with her Mad Dog and Glory co-star Robert De Niro in the comedy War With Grandpa next year (opens February 23, 2018).
